Donations totaling $1500 were recently received by the ARK Domestic Violence Shelter.

On March 22, 2011, The ARK received a $500.00 donation from the Comanche Electric Cooperative. This check, along with a check for $1,000.00 from the Lower Colorado River Authority Employees’ United Charities, are two examples of the generous support The ARK has recently received from individuals and groups in the Brownwood area.

The ARK is funded entirely through government grants and charitable donations, making these monetary contributions invaluable to The ARK and to the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault that we serve.
