D3hoops.com – The 2011 D3hoops.com All-Region Teams were announced this week and Howard Payne women’s basketball had junior guard Brittany Roberson honored on the list.

Third Team All-South Region

Brittany Roberson was named the MVP of this season’s ASC Championship Tournament as well as ASC Player of the Week once and to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week once. She averaged a team high 14.2 points per game and a team high 104 assists (3rd in the ASC) on the season.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. There were 680 players nominated nationwide, a new high. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region.
