The combination of strong southwest to west winds and very dry conditions will result in critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions during the afternoon and early evening on Tuesday.

The red flag warning will remain in effect from 11 am to 7 pm Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Strong southwest to west winds gusting 40 to 50 mph will combine with afternoon humidities falling to near 10 percent and extremely dry fuel conditions to create dangerous fire weather conditions for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
