Law Enforcement Blotter 2/16

Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, February 15th and Wednesday, February 16th, 2011.

Monday, February, 14

*12:41pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Main, Kroger parking lot, regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a brown 1990s Cadillac struck her vehicle when backing out of a parking space and then left the scene.  As of the time of the report, the Cadillac had not been located and no other suspect information was available.

Tuesday, February 15

*4:11pm-Brownwood Police responded to a report of harassment in the 1300 block of 8th Street.  The complainant stated that a known subject threatened to assault him at a local business in the 1500 block of Melwood the report states.

*6:54pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a found bicycle.  The report states that in black letters, on several locations, a person’s name was handwritten on it.  The bicycle was taken to the BPD impound until the owner is able to properly identify the bicycle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Anthony Dean Holman for Possession of a Dangerous Drug less than 28g and Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 37-year-old Oscar Ynostroza for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2oz.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
