The Lady Lions golfers played in unbelievable conditions at Maxwell Golf Course in Abilene Tuesday.  The temperatures were in the mid thirties at tee time and made it to the mid fifties by the end of the round.  After last week’s winter storm the course was extremely wet with water and snow all over the course.  Along with the water and snow the winds were gusting to 41 mph.

By the end of the day the Lady Lions found themselves on top, winning the Wylie Invitational firing a team total of 384.  Abilene Cooper came in 2nd shooting a 385, and Sweetwater was 3rd with a 388.

Individual scores for the Lady Lions were Makenlee Moore and Macie Maxfield with 95, Kinsey Colegrove-96, Courtney Munson-98 and Morgan McNabb-108.

“I am really proud of the girls,” stated Coach Laura Martin.
