Friday marked the first day entries were accepted for the 13th Annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit.  Paintings, photography, and sculptures began arriving at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center in anticipation for the big show.  Entries for the show will also be accepted Saturday, January 29th from 9am-12 noon.

The exhibit will be held on February 6-18 at the Depot and promises to be another great event for the Brownwood area.  Artwork not selected for the show can be exhibited at the Salon des Refuses at the Art Center on Fisk Avenue which will also be open to public for viewing.

The Juror for the exhibit will be Randy Bacon, an artist whose work has been exhibited in many museums including the Grace Museum in Abilene, Old Jail Art Center in Albany, Panhandle Plains Museum in Canyon and the Museum of East Texas Culture in Palestine.
