The American Southwest Conference today announced its women’s basketball players of the week and Howard Payne guard Brittany Roberson was named Co-West Division Player of the Week.

Howard Payne junior guard Brittany Roberson (Lone Star, TX / Hughes Springs HS) averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals to fuel conference road wins at Hardin-Simmons and McMurry. Roberson, who also helped the Lady Jackets extend their winning streak to five games, added three steals and went 10-for-11 from the free throw line. She scored a game-high 24 points in the 61-58 victory against McMurry.

Roberson shares this honor with Shamika Singleton of Concordia.
