ParisASABrownwood Bow Hunters Association recently finished setting up the practice 3D range to prepare for what should be the biggest year to date for the Texas ASA Federation.

The organization is also taking new memberships, as they do each year at this time and throughout the summer months. Membership forms are available at Richmon Farm supply across from the National Guard Armory or the Sportsman’s Center on Belle Plain.

So far there are 2 shoots scheduled, first up is the 2nd leg of the West Central Texas Championship. The shoot is 3 legs, one shot in Eastland, Brownwood, and Abilene, with Brownwood hosting the 2nd leg Feb 12 & 13th.

In March, they will host the yearly Texas ASA Qualifier, one of 20 shoots across Texas allowing shooters to compete and qualify for the Texas ASA State Championship to be held in Paris Texas July 9th & 10th.

BBHA and Sportsman’s Center Archery are also hosting a Texas Field Archery Association indoor “5 spot” tourney next month, Feb 5th & 6th. Participants can shoot either day. Tee times will be 10:00 & 2:00 pm both days.

Everyone is reminded to join the group every Tuesday evening at the Sportsman’s Center.  Members have been shooting indoor 5 spot in preparation for the upcoming tournament…all are welcome.
