Wesley Ray Reeves was born March 2, 1927 to Wesley and Berdie Dell (Jones) Reeves in White, Arkansas.  He passed away January 5, 2011 in Brownwood, Texas.

Wes worked in the oil fields as a roustabout and construction worker.  He spent most of his life in Texas.

Wes is survived by one daughter, Lynn Dottei of Richmond, Texas; two grandsons; four brothers, Alton and Ann Reeves of Bastrop, Louisiana, Jim and Marie Reeves of Evanston, Wyoming, Roy and Donna Reeves of West Monroe, Louisiana and Phillip and Patsy Reeves of Monroe, Louisiana; two sisters, Barbara Moore of Monroe, Louisiana and Floy Richardson of Jacobson, Louisiana and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by special friends, Delores Moore and Craig and Carol Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marguerite and Ruby Dell.

In accordance with his wishes, Wes will be cremated and burial will be in White, Arkansas.  Netherton Funeral Home & Cremations was in charge of arrangements.
