Seventh graders at Brownwood Middle School are being issued laptop computers this week thanks to the Connections Grant secured by BISD earlier this year.   The seventh grade students join grades 8 -12 at BISD who use the school issued laptops for schoolwork and use at home.

Parents were briefed Tuesday night at a meeting about the laptops and were issued a handbook.  School officials said that most students will have their new MacBooks in-hand before the weekend.

Parents who were unable to attend the first parent meeting on Tuesday must attend the meeting on Thursday, Jan. 6th at 6:00PM in Lehrer Gym.
