Graveside services for Mattie “Jane” L. Deaver, age 91, of Bangs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose with Reverend Buddy Cobb officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home & Cremations.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.   She passed away January 2, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

Jane was born March 3, 1918 in Dawson County, Texas, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Minnie (Jack) Reed.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Odessa.

Survivors her daughter, Anita Cobb and husband, Buddy, of Bangs; grandchildren Becky Whitehead, Gwen Cox, Beth Smith, John Cobb, Jo Shaffer, Mark Moseley and Mike Moseley; 12 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters; husbands Vernon Moseley and Randy Deaver; and son, Mayland Moseley.
