HallfordFuneral services for Merbeth “Mary” Elizabeth Hallford, age 87, of Bangs will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel, interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Bradshaw Cemetery in Taylor County under the direction of  Davis Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hallford passed away December 24, 2010 in Brownwood.

Mary was born February 16, 1923 in Bradshaw, Texas to Landon Hickland Turnbow and Clara LaVada (Bagwell) Turnbow. She married Jasper Harold Hallford on November 27, 1946 in Odessa,Tx and she was a member of the Bangs First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Ann Earles of Bangs, Robert Perry Hallford and wife Cindy of Bangs, Freddie Hallford of Bangs, and Jimmy Hallford and wife Melanie of Bangs; grandchildren, Elizabeth Haynes and fiance Eldon Jones of Merkel Tx, Johnny Hallford and wife Lisa of Wheelock Tx, Clinton and Michelle Hallford of Dora, AL, and Jacob Hallford of Bangs; great grandchildren, Jaylon, Haley, Payton, and Layne Hallford; Kristyn and Kacie Haynes; and Kaitlyn and Miranda Mcculley; brothers, Harven Turnbow of Midland,Jim Turnbow of Hereford, Harold Turnbow of San Antonio, and Wayne Turnbow of Abilene; Sisters, Faye Rendon of Waco,  Margie Berry of Scott City KS, Betty Morris of Andrews TX,  Laverne Nethercutt of Odessa, and Claradean Walsh of Abilene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Hallford; a brother, Earl Andrew Turnbow; and a sister, Ann Lee Roberts.
