Twas the week before Christmas, and all through East Elementary, children sat in their pajamas listening to stories. The second annual East Elementary PTO Pajama and Story Night was held on Tuesday, Dec. 14th, with about 200 in attendance.

Special guests who read to the children were Brownwood Lions Jaxon Shipley and Derek Longoria and Brownwood Mayor Stephen Haynes.  Following the story time, students and families sang a few Christmas carols together, and then had milk and cookies.
