Brookesmith Junior High took second place honors the North Zone, District 30-A UIL Meet which included grades 6, 7, and 8. Schools making up the North Zone are Brookesmith, Cherokee, Eden, Lohn, Menard, Richland Springs, and Rochelle. Brookesmith students scored 374 points in the December 8th competition.
