Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, December 10, 2010.

Sunday, December 5

*11:23pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue.    According to the report, an officer met with a complainant who stated that while walking home with her husband, an ex-boyfriend and another woman continued to drive by revving their engine, yelling obscenities, and physically threatening the woman.  The complainant wished to file a complaint regarding assault by threat the report states.  The officer advised the complainant that she needed to file a complaint with the City of Brownwood Municipal Court.

Thursday, December 9

*6:39am-Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Avenue A regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the complainant told the officer that someone had burglarized his home during the night while he was sleeping.

*8:01am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local address in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she found her two vehicles had been broken into sometime during the night.  At least 30 CDs and two paintball guns were taken according to the report.  No evidence of forced entry was found, as the vehicles were left unsecured the report states.  There were no suspects at the time of the report.

*11:20am-Brownwood Police responded to the 2000 block of Slayden regarding a juvenile problem.  Officers spoke with several family members and subsequently arrested a juvenile for Assault with Injury Family Violence.  The juvenile was processed and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

*11:32am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Sierra regarding a theft.  The officer spoke to a complainant who wishes to file charges for theft of his weed eater.  A suspect has not been identified at the time of the report.

*11:45am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Rogan regarding found property.  The caller stated that he found a small bicycle abandoned in the drainage ditch behind the school.  The bicycle was placed in BPD impound until an owner claims it.

*5:45pm-Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart regarding theft.  Two accused shoplifters were detained in the loss prevention office.  After an investigation, two citations were issued to the suspects for Theft less than $50 and given criminal trespass warnings for the property.  Items stolen were Chapstick, lip balms, and eye shadows which were estimated to have a total value of $16.17.  The suspects were both juveniles.

*6:40pm-A Brownwood Police officer was flagged down in the Wal-Mart parking lot by an employee regarding a disorderly customer.  The subjects in question were identified and at the manager’s request, issued criminal trespass warnings and escorted from the property.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
