Interment will follow at Moro Cemetery.

Joe passed from this life on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Stephenville, Texas.  He was born on August 7, 1960 at Brownwood Memorial Hospital to Waymon Joe and Oneale Tabor.  He graduated from Brownwood High School in May, 1978.  While in High School he played golf and he and his team went to state his senior year under the leadership of Coach James Scott.

Following graduation Joe enlisted in the U. S. Army.  Following basic training he served in military intelligence as a German Linguist in Germany, studied Mandarin Chinese and was stationed at Fort Mead, Odenton, Maryland at the National Security Agency. While in Germany he met Deeadra Files from Hagerstown, Maryland, who was also serving in the army.  They were married in Blanket, Texas, on February 24, 1989 and had one daughter, Deanna Grace.

In 1994 Joe went to work for First Data Corporation in Hagerstown, Maryland and for the past four years was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs in Temple, Texas.  He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Pittsburg Steelers and the Texas Longhorns.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Deanna, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, parents Joe and Oneale Tabor of Blanket, sister Terrie Lemmons of Brownwood, brother Tyler Tabor and wife Shawn of Wills Point, Texas and four nieces and one nephew.
