Early Chief of Police David Mercer reported two motor vehicle accidents that occurred in Early on Monday, November 22nd.  These accidents happened within less than an hour of each other.

At approx 3:50pm, Early Police Officers responded to an accident in the Early High School football stadium parking lot.  According to the report, a 16-year-old female lost control of a Ford mustang and struck a fence on the school property.  No Injuries were reported and school officials and parents are working out the details for the repair of the fence.

At 4:35pm a major accident was reported in the 400 block of Sunrise Drive, behind the football stadium, where a 2001 Chevy Tahoe struck a privacy fence and several trees. According to Mercer, the Tahoe was flipped upside down during the crash. The only occupant, a 16-year-old female, was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center by Guardian EMS the report states.  Early and Brownwood Fire Departments also responded to the accident.
