Good Samaritan Ministries brighten the holidays for many during the holidays with their annual Christmas boxes along with the help of and donations from local businesses, churches and clubs.

Good Samaritan Ministries staff are unloading boxes of food and counting their blessings as several of these groups have put efforts forth holding food drives or simply donating from their own resources to help meet the needs of families in the local area during the holiday season.  Pictured above and below are donations of food that will help many area families enjoy their own Christmas dinner.

Pictured above are representatives of the Wild Turkey Federation George Cantrell, GSM Food Warehouse Manager, Russ Porter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and Ernie Espinoza, GSM Food Pantry worker, are shown with some of the 45 Turkeys, weighing in at 410 pounds, donated to the Food Pantry by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Bruner Autogroup: GSM Executive Director, Angelia Bostick, John Stanley and Scott Pruitt of the Bruner Auto Group, stand with 30 turkeys, weighing 434 pounds, Bruner’s donated to the GSM Food Pantry.

Early First Baptist Church:  Don and Wanda Nelson and Sam and Betty Russell, GSM volunteers and members of Early First Baptist Church, are shown with the 655 pounds of food the church collected for Good Samaritan Ministries.

PTK of TSTC:  Mike Marks, Gary Riggins and Carminia Del Toro, of PTK, an Honor Society at Texas State Technical College, are shown with the 924 pounds of food they collected and donated to Good Samaritan Ministries.
