Being a parent is stressful…be prepared in difficult times.

Free classes are offered for Toddler, School Age and Teens at the Family Services Center which is located at 901 Avenue B in Brownwood.  For more information please call 325-646-5939 or toll free at 866-211-2255.

The curriculum used is Parenting Wisely.  The parenting program is funded by Texas Department of Family Protective Services (TDFPS); Texas Families; Together and Safe and the Brown County United Way.

The FSC is also willing to hold classes in any of the 7 counties served: Brown, Eastland, Mills, Comanche, McCullough, Coleman, and San Saba if organizations would like FSC staff to come and provide parenting classes for a church, school, or any other type of interested organization.  Contact FSC to set that up. Group classes last ten weeks, individual classes are conducted via computer at the FSC and last seven weeks.

As participants register and classes begin to fill up, dates and times for the classes will be announced.
