Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association presented Brandon Graves with the 2010 BJ Carnes Memorial Scholarship on Saturday, one of the last days of their scholarship fundraiser “The Haunted Ole House”.

Graves was presented a $1000 check for Fire Academy expenses by the BPFA.  Graves is a local citizen who is currently attending Weatherford College and training with Brownwood Fire Department.

The B.J. Carnes Memorial Scholarship may be applied for by any person attending or desiring to attend Fire Academy.
