Law Enforcement Blotter 10/22

Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, October 22, 2010.

Thursday, October 21

*8:39pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Driftwood apartments regarding a report of a violation of a protective order.  28-year-old Jacob Matthew Gil was arrested for the violation.

*8:16pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Borden regarding a burglary.  The complainant reported that someone broke into their home and stole several items while they were at work.

*7:55am – Brownwood Police responded to a report of burglary of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Cordell.  The vehicle’s front passenger window was damaged, but nothing was taken the report states.

*2:08pm – Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft in the 2200 block of Avenue D.  A complainant reported that he suspected that a family member had stolen cash.

Friday, October 22

*Game Warden arrested 24-year-old Justin Kyle Griffin for Hunting at Night/Whitetail and 22-year-old Bobby Ryan Suniga for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Patrick Kelley Johnson and 17-year-old Brittney Wigfield for Possession of Marijuana.  Brownwood Police stated that a vehicle playing very loud music was stopped on East Commerce.  Police officials said that the arresting officer could smell burnt marijuana in the vehicle.  After a search of the vehicle, the officer reported that he found marijuana in the subject’s possession.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
