Lawrence “Larry” Kirchner, age 80, longtime resident of Coleman and formerly of Orange County, California, passed away October 9, 2010. His wishes were to donate his body to science. Private services will be held at a later date.

Larry was the owner/operator of Kirchner’s Refrigeration and Appliance in Coleman. He is survived by his children Deborah Crosby of California, Chuck Kirchner of Everett, Wa., and Valarie Lee of Port Lavaca, Tx; his grandchildren Randy Crosby and wife Jennifer of Brownwood, Trina Crosby, Glen Kirchner, Larry Kirchner and Amy Kirchner; great-grandchildren David Garza and Lynnlee Crosby.

He is preceded in death by his wife Julie Kirchner in 2002 and his son Shawn Kirchner.
