WeigardFuneral Services for Bonnie Weigand, 86, of Early, Texas will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Slaymaker officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. She passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 in a local nursing home.

Bonnie Elizabeth Weigand was born on December 14, 1923 in Bangs, Texas to Howard and Eva Ella Baker Rambo. On June 2, she married Norbert Weigand in El Paso, Texas.
She was a retired Federal Government Employee working for GSA-NASA for several years prior to retiring in the mid-70’s and moving to Brown County. She was a member of NARFE Plasterer’s Local Union # 79 in Houston where she held several positions.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Larry Weigand and wife Elizabeth of Houston Her daughter, Debbie Riker and husband Ron of Flower Mound

3 Grandchildren – Jennifer Partin, Kristy Catrett, and Sarah Riker

Several other step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Peggy Burcham and
3 Brothers, Charles Rambo, Roy Rambo, and J. D. Rambo.
