Brenda was born in Gorman, TX, to Paul and Erlean (Matthews) Richards. Brenda was a Baptist and a lifelong resident of Comanche. After graduating high school, Comanche’s greatest class of 1966, Brenda moved to Austin doing office work there for awhile. She moved back to Comanche and worked in banking some before beginning work at Comanche County Farm Bureau; she worked there for 14 years. Brenda had many “likes” for her spare time.
She enjoyed needle point, shopping on QVC, buying lots of new shoes, and doting on her grandchildren. She did not claim to be a good cook but Don, her husband, said that was not true and greatly enjoyed everything she produced.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 25 years, Don Burch; son, Lance Williams and wife Melissa of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; mother, Erlean Richards; sister, Bonnie White; brother, Jackie Richards; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Richards.
Graveside Service will be Tuesday August 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, DeLeon, TX
