Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, August 26, 2010.

Friday, August 20

*At 2:01pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Belle Plain in reference to a possible theft.

Sunday, August 22

*At 5:10pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding the theft of an iPhone.

Wednesday, August 25

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 30-year-old Juan Guadalupe Morin for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

*At 5:39pm, Dispatch received a call from Eastland County Sheriff’s Department that a third party had reported seeing a garbage bag on the side of US 183N and what looked to be a human head.  The location of the sighting was about 5 miles south of Rising Star in Brown County.  According to law enforcement officials, an investigating officer reported to the area and found what appeared to be a bag of abandoned trash spilled on the side of the road that the reporting party had mistaken for a human head.

*At 9:51pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Brazos Street regarding a report of a burglary of a building.

*At 1:53pm, a Brownwood Police officer met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center (BPD) regarding identity theft.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
