Registration Forms Available for Brownwood Reunion Photo Contest

2010ReunionLogoThe 10th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration Photo Contest is being hosted this year by the Brownwood Art Association. Photos entered into the contest will be on display during the Reunion on September 17th-19th.  Entry forms are now available for those interested at BrownwoodTx.com.

Photographers from age 8-80 are encouraged to get out their cameras and frame their best work for the contest.  Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:  Students 8-20; Adults 21-80 and Professionals.

There is a $5 entry fee per piece with no limit on the number of entries per artist.  Subject matter must be in good taste and may be submitted but is also at the discretion of the Brownwood Art Association.  All photography must be framed and ready to hang.

Entries will be accepted at 215 Fisk Avenue at the following days and times:

Sat., Sept. 11th    11am-1pm

Mon. Sept. 13th    11am-1pm

Tues, Sept. 14th   11am-1pm & 6pm-8pm

Wed., Sept. 15th  11am-1pm

All entries must be picked up on Sunday, September 19th from 4:00-6:00pm.

The Contest Judge will be Julie Mize, a graduate of Howard Payne University and the art teacher at Brownwood Middle School.  For more information contact Melanie Naylor at 325-647-8543.

The Brownwood Reunion Celebration is an annual event in Brownwood that draws tens of thousands of visitors to the area to enjoy shows, contests, kid’s activities, live music, parades, and more. The 10th Annual Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held Sept. 17-19 in Brownwood.  Visit BrownwoodTx.com for more information.
