Micky Dee Mason, age 56, of Bangs, died Sunday in the Brownwood Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny M. Allcorn officiating. His body will be cremated and his remains buried in the Mukewater cemetery.

He was born April 26, 1954 in Dallas, the son of the late Lester and Louise Lobb Mason.
He worked as a carpenter in the construction business most of his life and had lived in Bangs since the early 70’s.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Tressler and her fiance Arlie Brewer of Austin; a brother – Fred Mason of Early; 3 sisters – Jane Jolley of Oklahoma, Margie Powell of Durant, Oklahoma and Vicky Dickson of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bill Mason.
