The Howard Payne University women’s soccer program today announced the hiring of Michael Hatcher as assistant women’s soccer coach. 

Michael Hatcher who began his duties as assistant coach with the Howard Payne women’s soccer program on August 1st, is a 2009 graduate of Howard Payne and was a student assistant with the women’s program for two years. 

Michael was a member of the men’s team his first year at Howard Payne. Michael graduated with a degree in Art Communications from HPU. 

“Michael is a positive addition to the Lady Jacket program,” said head coach Sam McCutchen. “His experience over the last two seasons will greatly benefit HPU.”  He is also a graduate of Midlothian high school in Midlothian, Texas where he was a two-time All-Region forward.
