Monday, July 26, marks the first day to file as a candidate for a seat on the Brownwood ISD Board of Trustees.

Four seats on the Board will be up for election including place 1 (currently held by John Nickols), place 3 (currently held by Roderick Jones), place 6 (currently held by Dr. Justin Murphy), and place 7 (currently held by Tim Jacobs).  Seats are determined by geographic district.  The last day to file for a place on the ballot is August 24, and the election will be held November 2.

Those interested can pick up an information packet at the Brownwood ISD Central Administration Office at 2707 Southside Drive.  Summer office hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – noon.  For questions, call Karen Dempsey at 325-643-5644.
