Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, July 9, 2010.

Wednesday, July 7

*At 7:52am Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Vine Street regarding a continuing investigation for failure to identify.  According to the report, after the investigation was completed, it was determined that a subject had possibly provided false information while being detained and arrested.  The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, July 8

*Early Police arrested 43-year-old Paul Martin Salinas of Comanche for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1g in a Drug Free Zone and Disorderly Conduct.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 34-year-old Lloyd Allen Shelton of Bangs for Driving While Intoxicated.

*At 6:01am Brownwood Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Avenue B.  Information was obtained from the victim, which led to a suspect being located and issued a criminal trespass warning the report states.

*Approximately 9:46 Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Avenue C in reference to a burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen a large older model window unit air conditioner from her mother’s home.  After checking the residence, it was determined that nothing else was missing at the time of the report.

*At 1:00pm Brownwood Police received a report of a stolen driver’s license.  A report was made for documentation purposes in the event of future identification theft.

*At 1:30pm Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of 1st Street in reference to theft.  According to the report the resident informed the officer that someone had stolen a lawnmower from the back porch of the home.

*Approximately 12:30pm Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of US 377 S.  The police report states upon the officer’s arrival the complainant stated her vehicle had been broken into.  The scene was processed and three possible latent prints were placed into evidence and a report filed.

*Shortly before 9:00pm a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the Gladys Seward City Park at Walnut and Houston in reference to a male subject that had fallen out of his wheelchair.  According to the report, information was obtained and the subject, identified as 47-year-old Frank Goins Jr., was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Friday, July 9, 2010

*At 12:58am Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Durham in regard to a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, 18-year-old Stetson Don Kelley was arrested for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
