Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, July 1, 2010.

Tuesday, June 29

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary of a building on CR 472.  According to the report, the victim stated that her workshop had been broken into.  A large tool chest with numerous smaller tools had been taken.  The victim stated that there was something else missing, but she could not remember what it was at the time of the report.  There are no suspects and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Wednesday, June 30

*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Joshua Lee Carson for Assault Family Violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on CR 607 in reference to a stolen/missing trailer.

Thursday July 1

*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Dallas St.  According to police reports, a subject had damaged property and a vehicle.  This subject was reported to have left the scene and was walking nearby.  When the officer drove to his location, five subjects were located.  After a positive identification from the complainant/victim, 22-year-old Alvin William-Joseph Kite was arrested for Criminal Mischief >=$50<$500.  Another subject was identified as 22-year-old Jerry Douglas Allen who was arrested for Public Intoxication.

* Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Avenue E, where they made contact with several subjects for a second time regarding a noise violation according to the police report.  Further investigation revealed that a minor had been consuming alcohol at that location and he was issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and for loud music.  Another subject, identified as 28-year-old Joe Dell Knowles was arrested for Purchase/ Furnish Alcohol to a Minor.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
