Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, June 23, 2010
Saturday June 19
*Brownwood Police Department responded to a report of Criminal Mischief in the 2100 block of 1st Street. The victim’s garage windows had been shot with a BB gun according to the report.
Monday June 21
*Brownwood Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle that was criminally damaged or “keyed” in the 300 block of Bluffview.
Tuesday June 22
*Brownwood Police Department, based on a tip, was looking for 18-year-old Gwendolyn Huckaby on outstanding warrants. According to the report, when they came to the residence, Teresa Huckaby, Gwendolyn’s mother was present. She told police that Gwendolyn was on her way to Ft. Worth with her sister and that she would let her know that the police were looking for her. While walking around the property, police noticed a person squatting behind a tree. Police later identified the person as Gwendolyn Huckaby, and she was arrested on the warrants according to the report. 48-year-old Teresa Huckaby was arrested for Hindering Apprehension.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Brittany Caraway for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, less than 1 gram; 31-year-old Jesse Wayne Crouch II for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, less than 1 gram; and 27-year-old Michael Wayne Caraway for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, >=1 gram, ,4 grams in a Drug Free Zone and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 3 /4 <28 grams in a Drug Free Zone
*Brown County Sheriff’s Department arrested 39-year-old Juan Arredondo Maldonado of Rising Star for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Max Bradley Rasberry for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
*Brownwood Police Department arrested 42-year-old Victor Glen Woodward for Public Intoxication.
*Brownwood Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Austin Ave on a report of stolen medication. The report stated that the victim’s granddaughter’s boyfriend took 11 pills from a prescription bottle that had just been filled. When the pills were noted as missing, the victim’s husband asked the suspect who admitted taking the medications and then returned them according to the report.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
