BSOALogoEveryone who is a friend and supporter of the Boy Scouts of America in Brown County, Texas  is invited for breakfast Tuesday June 29, 2010 at the Beadel Dining Room, First Floor, Mabee Center, Howard Payne University, Brownwood, Texas. Breakfast will be from 7a.m. to 8 a.m. and will cost only $5.00 per person. Donations will also be accepted. If possible, please R.S.V.P. to 325-646-3085 by 9 a.m. Friday, June 25.

There will be a short program on the past, present, and future of the Boy Scouts of America in Brown County, Texas as the scouts prepare for the next 100 years of scouting in our area. The President Elect of our Texas Trails Council, Judge Steve Ellis, and others will be present to help tell the story and share the vision of what is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values based youth development organizations.

Scouting provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

Good things are happening again for the local scouting program, but your help is needed to make the promise of Scouting a reality for all interested Brown County kids.
