The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railway is gearing up for some repairs in the Brownwood area.

The railway is planning to replace railroad ties on a stretch of tracks running through Brownwood in the coming weeks.  The ties were delivered along the tracks today by rail and dropped off along the route.

Workers for BNSF said that the repairs are routine and it will take approximately four weeks to complete.
