The newly rebuilt McDonald’s restaurant opened earlier this week to the delight of Big Mac and Happy Meal fans all over Brownwood.
The original free-standing McDonald’s located at 204 E. Commerce was closed in February and the building was demolished by workers to make way for the all new restaurant. The new building has an updated look, enclosed playground area, and drive-thru lanes and has been packed with customers since it opened on Tuesday.
The all new McDonald’s will be holding a grand opening celebration on Thursday, June 17th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held during the event from both the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Early Chamber of Commerce. The public is invited to come and join in on the opening of the new building.
