Early voting gets underway Tuesday in the runoff election for the Brownwood city council seat ward 2.
Ed McMillian and Eddie Watson will face off in this runoff for the council position. McMillian and Watson were separated by only 4 votes in the general election held on May 8th, both beating the third candidate, Richard Ashton.
Early voting will run weekdays starting Tuesday, June 1 through Wednesday, June 9th. Voting hours June 1-7th will be 8am-5pm and June 8 & 9 from 7am-7pm. The runoff election will be June 12th from 7am-7pm. Ballots will be cast at Adams Street Community Center located at 511 E. Adams.
