Ted Naron

TedNaronFuneral Services for Ted Naron, 78, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday at the Haven of Hope Church, 1617 Main blvd. in Brownwood, Texas with Bro. Brian Hall officiating.  Interment will follow at the Lost Creek Cemetery near May, Texas.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Heartland Funeral Home.   Mr. Naron passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Teddye Alonzo Naron was born on August 12, 1931 in Brown County, Texas to Alonzo and Pearl Stinnett Naron.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy.  On July 1, 1950 he married Josie Treadaway at the Methodist Church in Brownwood.  In 1963 he moved to Arlington where he was a retired foreman for the city.  In 1980 he returned to Brownwood and worked for a number of years for Brown County in Precinct 2.  He was a member of the Haven of Hope Church.

Survivors include his wife of nearly sixty years Josie Naron of Lake Brownwood;  two children  At All Kite and wife Robin of Sweetwater, Texas, Joey Broussard and husband Lance of Early, Texas; one sister Mona Smith of Roswell, New Mexico; sister-in-law Joyce Wright and husband Carl of Brownwood, Texas; niece and nephews Gwen Hamilton and husband Jerry, Chuck Erwin and Jack Smith and by numerous great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Bessie Peek, one niece Jeanette Erwin and by two brothers-in-law Clarence Smith and Jack Kite.
