The Early Lady Horns softball team pulled back-to-back victories on Saturday to win the Region 1-2A final series sending them to the State Tournament next week.

Early lost game 1 to Alpine on Thursday, but turned everything around on Saturday winning 8-0 in game 2 and 2-0 in game 3.  This takes the Lady Horns to a 30-3 record on the season.

With the win, Early heads to McCombs’ Field in Austin on Thursday afternoon to play George West in game 1 of the tournament.

The Early Lady Horns quickly left the field after their victory at Abilene Christian University to head back home for high school graduation which was taking place at 6pm Saturday.
