District attorney, Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Kevin Douglas Patterson pled guilty to the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to Twenty (20) Years, Texas Department of Criminal justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Patterson pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Fraudulent Use or Possession o Identifying Information and was sentenced to One (1) Year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Eddie Glyn Deason pled guilty to the felony offense Arson and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and Institutional Division.  Further, Deacon pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Abandoning or Endangering a Child and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and State Jail Division.
