Due to the Memorial Day Holiday on May 31st, all non-emergency city facilities will close and there will be no collection of residential waste. Residents with blue or green carts, please note that your collections days area as follows.
*Monday’s route will be collected on Tuesday
*Tuesday’s route will be collected on Wednesday
*Normal collection days will resume on Thursday, June 3rd
The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday, May 31st.
The city has free brush and tree limb collection for residential customers. Please cut them in to lengths of 5 feet or less and notify the Sanitation Department at 643-4200.
For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
