Brownwood ISD Superintendent Reece Blincoe unveiled a new billboard that the district will be displaying which celebrates the winning record of the Brownwood High School Band.

This is the newest billboard in a public relations campaign that BISD started two years ago to tell the public about its achievements.

“We want to go about telling our story about the great things our kids do,” Blincoe said.

The series of billboards developed by the district’s public relations committee touts student achievements in academics, athletics, fine arts, and other areas Blincoe said.  Local businesses help out by sponsoring the billboards that are displayed.

This newest billboard features the Brownwood High School band’s recent and past sweepstakes wins.
