Relay for Life: More Fundraisers To Enjoy

ACSRelay4LifeHere’s to another week of Relay For Life Fundraisers.  Get ready for great opportunities for fun time, good food and great bargains that are all part of fundraising events to benefit this year’s Brown County Relay for Life.   This year promises to be a year of record breaking participation and an amazing amount of money to be raised with all of the planning and events that have been held already and those planned for the next few weeks.  Here are some of the events scheduled in the near future:

May 13:  Central Texas Opportunities will be holding a Relay for Life fundraiser at Chick-Fil-A on Thursday from 5:30-7:30.  A percentage of all sales go to their Relay team. 

May 14:  Brownwood Nursing and Rehab across from the hospital emergency room is having a fun day to benefit Relay for Life on Friday from 11:00-2:00.  Hamburger plates for $6.00.  There will also be a cash grab booth, tickets $1.00, for a chance to go in and grab as much cash as you can in a limited amount of time. 

May 15:  Garage sale to benefit the Relay for Life team from Fit by Faith on Saturday from 7:00 am until ?  Breakfast burritos will be available

May 15:  Coggin Avenue Baptist Church will be holding a fun day at Coggin Park to raise money for Relay for Life.  There will be live music, hamburger plates for $5.00, snow cones and much more.  The event is scheduled for May 15th 11:00-1:30.  Everyone is invited. 

May 15:  Central Texas Opportunities’ Relay for Life team will be holding a garage sale at 207 Salt Creek Drive 8:00-2:00 on Sat May 15th.  Everything priced $1 or less. 

May 17:  A community-wide Bunko tournament will be hosted by Bev’s Bunch to raise money for the Brown County Relay for Life on Monday, May 17th at 7:00 in the Family Life Center at Austin Ave Church of Christ, 1020 Austin Avenue.  There is a $5.00 donation for each player.  Coffee, tea, dessert, and prizes will be provided.
