flamingoArea residents may have noticed a pesky flock of plastic pink flamingos invading their neighbor’s yards recently.  There is no cause for alarm however as these flamingos are helping fight cancer in the upcoming Relay for Life event coming in June.

The folks at Fit by Faith Fitness are raising money for their Relay for Life team by sending the flock of flamingos to area homes and businesses. If you find a flock of these pink birds in your front yard, you have been FLAMINGO’ED!

To get rid of these birds, just call the Fit By Faith Relay For Life Team to come remove them for a donation of $10 for a residence and $20 for a business!  You can also purchase flamingo insurance of $10 to guarantee that the birds will not return.

Those interested can also request that a flamingo flock be sent to a location that they choose.  Send a small flock of 10 for $5, a medium flock of 20 for $10, or a large flock of 50 for $20.  If you have already been flamingo’ed, you can send the small flock to another location at no extra charge.

It is a great way to have fun and to help the fight against cancer.

To request flamingos or have them removed, call Fit by Faith at   325) 641-0721 or visit their Relay for Life webpage by clicking here.

Pictured above is a yard on Austin Avenue that was recently visited by the flamingos.
