The Brownwood Lions Junior Varsity baseball team scored a big win against Sweetwater Tuesday in District 2-3A play at Morris Southall Field in Brownwood.
The team came up with a 5 run lead in the 5th inning. Four more runs were scored by Brownwood, increasing their lead and allowing Sweetwater only 3 runs in the 6th inning. The rest of the game was scoreless with a Brownwood JV taking a win: Sweetwater 3, Brownwood 9.
The JV Lions are 7-14 overall for the season and 3-5 in district play. Brownwood JV next game will be Saturday, April 24 at 11 AM vs. Snyder JV at Morris Southall Field…which is the last game of the season.
