JoshuaButler

Joshua Cole Butler,age 29, graduated to his home in Glory at 2:30am on Friday, April 9, 2010. He died from cancer at Hendricks Memorial Hospital in Abilene, TX.

He was born in Ft Worth, TX on July 3, 1980 to Dale E. and Suzette Brown Butler. Both parents survive him. Joshua was an employee of Kohler Co. for about 5 years, at the time of his death. He loved to play the bass guitar, and he liked to read. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Woodrow Nelson and Ella Mae Deeds Brown, and both paternal grandparents, Elmer Peddle and Louise Marie Davis Butler. He is also survived by two brothers and their wives: Dace and Amie Butler of Mobile, Alabama and Jonathon Chad and Amanda Butler of Early, TX He also has one sister of Abilene, TX. Joshua left behind four nephews: Dillon and Brandon Butler and Dace Eric and Jackson Butler.

He also left behind two sets of aunts and uncles, Gail and Larry Spencer of New Braunfels, TX and Lou and Petie Graham of Milano, TX. He also had many cousins and their children. Joshua had special friends he especially loved, Will and Megan Pritchett, of San Angelo and Deanna Lewis of Canada.

Services will be at  2 pm on Monday, at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cox Cemetery in McCulloch County. The Family will receive friends 5pm to 6pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Wayne Horton of Levelland will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials my be made to New Horizons, 500 Chestnut. Suite 1101, Abilene, Texas 79602.
