ACSRelay4LifeWith three months left until the actual 2010 Brown County Relay for Life the pace is definitely picking up.  There are over 43 teams currently registered with more joining on a weekly basis.  Now is the perfect time to get you team started.

There are two team captain meeting opportunities this month.  Both will be held on the second floor of the outpatient center at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  They will be held on March 9th at 5:30 and on March 30th at noon.  These meetings are for anyone interested in forming a team, being on a team, or captains of the teams already formed.

Different Relay topics are covered each month with both a day and evening time available so everyone who wants to come might have the opportunity.

For more information about forming a team contact Lainey Hall at 325-642-0463.  The Relay will be held at Gordon Wood Stadium on June 4th and 5th.  This year’s goal is to raise $110,000 for the fight against cancer.  The theme for this year’s Relay is “A World Without Cancer Is A World With More Birthdays”.
