Funeral Services for Bettie Ann Browne, age 76, of Brownwood will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday February 7, 2010 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Lawson officiating. Graveside to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Paint Rock Cemetery in Concho County under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Ms. Browne passed away Thursday morning in Brownwood.

Bettie was born October 14, 1933 in Brown County, to the late Charlie W. and Vera Ann (Wilkins) Robertson. She worked as a cook at the Plantation Nursing Home for many years and was a loving mother to her family.

She is survived by five children, Raymond Browne of Haysville, Kansas, Brenda Waters of Brownwood, Linda Snell of Cross Plains, Randy Browne of Brownwood, and Bobby Browne of Brownwood; 22 grandchildren; and 44 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Charlie and Ronnie Browne; two great grandchildren; and two brothers.
