High School Basketball Playoff Scores – Brownwood Lions and Early Lady Longhorns End Seasons

brownwoodlionslogoThe Brownwood Lions basketball team was defeated on Friday night by Seminole in the Region I-3A Area playoff round with a final score of 89-53.   The Lions played a great season and with a majority of the players coming back next year, it will give fans something to look forward to.   Seminole will move on to play Estacado on Monday.

The Early Lady Longhorns basketball team fell to Idalou in Friday’s Region II-2A semifinal round in Midland’s Chaparral Center with a final score of 53-39.  The Lady Longhorns end the season with a 20-12 records and a great season for their fans.

Early scorers for this final game included Tresta Donahoo with a big 21 points,  Morgan Birrell  3 points, Kaitlyn Levett  4 points,  Julia Loudermilk  3 points, Tylene Middleton 3 points,  Bailey Harris 2 points, and Brianna Childs 2 points.

Wylie will face Graham on Monday night at Breckenridge

Advance to the Region I-3A finals

Goldthwaite Lady Eagles enter Saturday’s regional final against Muenster
