Billie Faye McNutt

Funeral Services for Billie Faye McNutt, 68, of Zephyr, Texas will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow at the Zephyr Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.  She passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at a local nursing home. 

Billie was born on July 21, 1941 in Brown County, Texasto Horace and Imogene Hardin McDearmon.  She grew up and attended school in Comanche, Texas and married Melvin Wayne McNutt in Comanche on August 31, 1957.  She had been a resident of Zephyr for the past twenty five years and had lived in Alvin, Texas prior to that.

Survivors:

Son:                Keith McNutt of Alvin, Texas

Daughter:        Sheila Elliott and husband Mike of Katy, Texas

Twin sister:      Lillie Nelson and husband Doyce of Zephyr, Texas

Sister:             Iris Way and husband Denver of Zephyr, Texas

Brother:          Roy McDearmon and wife Belia of Austin, Texas  

Five grandchildren:  Stephanie McLennan and husband Adam; Wesley McNutt; Jason Elliott; Julie Elliott; and Wade McNutt

One great grandchild:  Westin McNutt

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Wayne McNutt and her parents Horace McDearmon and Imogene Pettit.
