February 24, 2010 –Howard Payne University faculty, staff and students gathered on Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Packer Administration Building to cheer on the Lady Jacket basketball team as it departs for the American Southwest Conference Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament, to be held in Pineville, LA.

The Lady Jackets (20-5), who are currently the No. 2 seed in the ASC West Division, have held the conference title for the past three consecutive years. They will play at 5 p.m. on Friday against Mississippi College (19-6).
